Operation Sindoor

India has delivered a powerful blow in retaliation for the Pahalgam terrorist attack, making sure that Pakistan will not forget this lesson for years. India's elite forces targeted 9 terrorist hideouts across Pakistan, killing over 100 terrorists. This operation, called "Operation Sindoor," was executed with such precision and strength that Pakistan’s terror infrastructure was completely wiped out, leaving it in utter devastation.

The operation involved a coordinated strike using advanced weapon systems from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, including loitering weapons. Intelligence agencies provided valuable inputs about terrorist camps located in Pakistan and PoK. The strikes were launched from Indian soil.

Weapon Used in the Attack

India's main weapon in this operation was the Scalp missile, launched from the Rafale aircraft. The Scalp missile travels at a speed of Mach 0.8 and can strike targets up to 560-600 kilometers away. Notably, it can evade enemy radars, making it a crucial part of India's "Kill Web" strategy. India has more than 300 Scalp missiles in its arsenal. In addition to the Scalp missile, India reportedly used stand-off weapons, drones, and other advanced munitions during the strikes.

Revenge for the Pahalgam Attack

This retaliatory action came two weeks after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, which resulted in the deaths of 26 innocent people. In a statement, the Ministry of Defence stated that these measures were taken in direct response to the barbaric attack and reaffirmed that those responsible would be held accountable. Following the strikes, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh shared a message of triumph, expressing his firm resolve through a "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" post on X.
